About Us
Art doesn't belong in vitrines. Art belongs in life. That is the thought behind JMES WORLD, a Berlin art, culture and lifestyle brand that democratises art — beyond white cubes, gallery small talk and invisible price tags.
JMES WORLD is not a single format but an ecosystem: a club where art, music and nightlife merge and where artists, creatives and believers meet as equals; the JMES Café at Tempelhofer Ufer 17, whose rotating Artist-of-the-Month programme puts art where people already spend their days; a museum that makes art tangible and easy to approach; and the Artist Guilde, a curated membership programme that connects artists instead of isolating them.
Through its digital platform, JMES WORLD makes art available to everyone — with a growing community of artists and believers who actively shape the brand rather than merely consume it.
Founded by Manfred Michel and Madelyn DeVille, JMES WORLD pursues one central goal: to free art from its exclusivity and turn it into a shared, accessible space — physical and digital, curated and open to all.

Fitted with the first 4D sound system ever built — sound you do not just hear, you feel it. Beneath the brick vaults of an 1869 brewery, the biggest names in music celebrate their private releases. The JMES Club does not open for everyone: for closed events — or for the rare public nights that JMES WORLD curates itself.

The JMES Museum takes the reverence out of the exhibition. No whispering, no velvet rope, no price in the fine print: works hang at eye level, and anyone who wants to ask, asks. Artists work in sight of the audience — live art that comes into being while you stand in front of it. Exhibitions change to the rhythm of our artists, curated for people, not for vitrines.

A space where creativity is not a guest but a founding principle. Up front: coffee, conversation, the ordinary day. In the background — and sometimes right in the middle — the extraordinary: a podcast studio, a room where music is made, an integrated museum. And when the sun drops lower: day raves, backed by one of the largest record collections in the world.
